“Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney” will kick off its first show with guest appearances from Michael Keaton, Joan Baez and Fred Armisen.

Keaton, Baez and Armisen will serve as the first guests for Mulaney’s talk show when it premieres live on Wednesday, March 12. Cypress Hill will also take the stage during the debut episode, while personal finance columnist Jessica Roy also appears.

“Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney” will premiere live on Netflix on Wednesday, March 12 at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT, kicking off the show’s 12-week run. Subsequent episodes will stream live weekly through May 28, with additional guests yet to be announced.

When Mulaney unveiled details of the show during January’s Next on Netflix event, he teased the show would be “the one place where you could see Arnold Schwarzenegger sitting next to Nikki Glaser sitting next to a family therapist with music by Mannequin Pussy,” adding that “we don’t know if we can lock in Mannequin Pussy, but we are in talks with them.”

At the time, Mulaney revealed that comedian Richard Kind would also join him for the series.

“I think that this show will be something that people will want to tune into live,” Mulaney said at the time. “We will have a host in a suit taking calls from viewers. It’s Netflix’s commitment to embracing the 20th century. There is absolutely nothing new about what I’m doing but, by taking a lot of elements other people have already done and doing them out of order, it feels new and that’s what’s important.”

“Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney” comes on the heels of “John Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s in LA,” which aired for a brief six-episode run during the 2024 Netflix is A Joke Festival. During those shows, Mulaney’s guests included Jerry Seinfeld, Stavros Halkias, Sarah Silverman, Tom Segura, Cassandra Peterson, Ronny Chieng, David Letterman, Bill Hader, Luenell, Cedric the Entertainer, Pete Davidson, Hannah Gadsby and Nikki Glaser, among others.
