Michael Fassbender’s Life of ‘Being in Bed’ with Penelope Cruz Is in Grave Danger in ‘The Counselor’ (Video)

A law degree may be a license to steal — but you still have to be good at it

"Life is being in bed with you," Michael Fassbender gravely tells Penelope Cruz in the newest trailer for "The Counselor."

"Everything else is just waiting," he continues.

To afford the lifestyle that The Counselor (Fassbender) wants to provide for his new fiancée, the eponymous (and otherwise anonymous) main character gets in over his head in the drug trade. Like, way in over his head — $20 million dollars worth.

That's when things get bloody.

"You are the world you have created, and when you cease to exist, this world that you have created, will also cease to exist," fellow drug lord Reiner (Javier Bardem) warns The Counselor.

The film has a top-notch cast, also starring Brad Pitt, Cameron Diaz, John Leguizamo and "Breaking Bad's" Dean Norris. "The Counselor" hits theaters Oct. 25.
