Michael Fassbender Is Ready to Change History in First ‘Steve Jobs’ Trailer (Video)

The biopic of the late Apple co-founder debuts in theaters October 9

Universal Pictures released the first trailer for “Steve Jobs” on Sunday.

The film follows Jobs (Michael Fassbender) through three major product launches for Apple. In the trailer, Jobs stands on a stage as we here him in voiceover describing the significance of the events unfolding before him.

“The two most significant events in the twentieth century: the Allies win the war, and this” he says, most likely speaking of a new Apple product.

We also get our first glimpse of Seth Rogen as Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, as well as Kate Winslet as original Macintosh team member Joanna Hoffman and Jeff Daniels as former Apple CEO John Sculley.

Aaron Sorkin wrote the screenplay, which is based on Walter Isaacson’s biography. Danny Boyle is directing. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on October 9.
