Billy Eichner was quick to defend Meryl Streep on Twitter Sunday night from one of the prominent conservatives bashing the Cecil B. DeMille Award winner for her Golden Globes acceptance speech.
Meghan McCain, a Fox News personality and daughter of Republican Sen. John McCain, said the actress’ speech “is why Trump won. And if people in Hollywood don’t start recognizing why and how – you will help him get re-elected.”
