Did departing Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter get in one last shot at the Trumps on his way out? First Lady Melania Trump was not included in the magazine’s International Best-Dressed List, and conservatives see it as a deliberate slight.
The list includes former first couple Barack Obama and Michelle Obama alongside such stars as Rihanna, Harry Styles, Solange Knowles and LeBron James. But Donald Trump and Melania did not receive notice for their sartorial sensibilities.
The Daily Caller wrote that it is “extremely bizarre” for Vanity Fair not to include Melania, who earned attention last week for boarding Marine One in high heels en route to storm-ravaged Houston.
The conservative website suggested that Donald Trump’s previous friction with Carter may have been a reason why Melania wasn’t included.
Meanwhile, Breitbart referred to her absence from the list as a snub and called the former model “one of the most fashion-forward American First Ladies in history.”
Vanity Fair did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Check out an assortment of tweets below that criticize the omission.

Melania Trump's stylist on 'best-dressed' list but no @FLOTUS? Proving you're a crappy rag sheet. #BoycottFanityFairhttps://t.co/hSVsbtr5uO
