In the suit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday, photographer Delbert Shaw claims that Green pummeled him in the face and tackled him after he took pictures of Green's wife Fox in a bikini on a beach in Hawaii.
The suit contends that Fox egged Green on, asking her husband, "Are you going to let him get away with that?" after Shaw took a picture of Fox in a bikini, and "verbally encouraged defendant Green to continue his violent attack."

As a result of the alleged attack, Shaw claims, he has incurred significant medical expenses and suffered "humiliation, mental anguish and emotional and physical distress."
Claiming assault and battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, conversion, false imprisonment, conspiracy and negligence, Shaw is seeking unspecified general, special, exemplary and punitive damages to be determined at trial.
Green and Fox's representatives have not yet responded to TheWrap's request for comment.
