Country stars took a break from the CMA Awards on Wednesday night to read mean tweets on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”
Trace Adkins led things off, with a fan writing that just because you have a beard, a ponytail and a cowboy hat that doesn’t make you a good country singer.
Dolly Parton also got in on the fun, laughing it off when a fan said that her concerts look an awful lot like “a hooker convention.”
Other country acts like Florida Georgia Line also read off some toxic tweets. The guys from the group read one in particular that said they were “engineered in a douche factory.”
Hopefully the performances at the CMA Awards were more fun, which — let’s be honest — had to be the case since no one likes acknowledging internet trolls.
