Maya Angelou, the poet, author, actress, filmmaker, playwright, orator, and civil rights activist, was also pretty good at patty cake.
The recently deceased literary icon stopped by “Sesame Street” four different times — one of the many ways she contributed to the education of others — but in her last appearance (above) she played a game of patty cake with the cutest cast member, Elmo.

During an earlier appearance alongside the furry red falsetto, Angelou belted out a catchy tune about why her name is great, and each and every one of ours is too.
