Matthew Weiner, the creator of “Mad Men” is putting his writing skills to good use — he will publish a novel titled “Heather, The Totality.”
According to a release by publisher Little, Brown and Company, the novel is a “dark fable set in contemporary Manhattan … about three people from two worlds who are on a collision course in pursuit of a beautiful child.”
“As someone to whom literature has always been essential, the only thing better than the experience of writing ‘Heather, the Totality’ is having it published by Little, Brown and Company,” Weiner said in the release. “I can’t imagine a more exciting way to begin this part of my writing life.”
Aside from “Mad Men,” Matthew Weiner’s credits include “The Sopranos,” “The Naked Truth” and “Are You Here.”
“Heather, the Totality” is looking at a publication date in the fall of 2017.
