Matthew McConaughey is very optimistic about saving the world in a new TV spot for his next film, “Interstellar.”
The 60-second preview (above) begins with Michael Caine saying, “We must confront the reality that nothing in our solar system can help us.”

It sends on a happier note, however, when McConaughey’s space astronaut character says, “We’ll find a way. We always have.”

“Interstellar,” directed by Christopher Nolan from a screenplay he co-wrote with brother Jonathan, follows a group of explorers entering a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel, and hopefully discover a new home as Earth is becoming inhabitable.
Warner Bros. is releasing the science fiction film, in which Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Casey Affleck and Wes Bentley co-star, on Nov. 7.
