If you thought the hotel accommodations in Sochi were bad, wait until you see how Russians relax.
Matt Lauer and Al Roker visited a Russian bathhouse for a “Today” show segment that aired on Wednesday morning, in which they were rubbed down by two men who followed up the massage by smacking them with hot eucalyptus leaves.

The co-hosts’ let out audible cries of pain (“Ow!” Ah!”) before Lauer had enough of what he described as a “recreational spanking.”
The hot bath didn’t appear any better when both were surprised with hot water poured over their heads, making what Roker called “Matt and Al soup.”
