Fox’s “MasterChef” and “Bullseye” propelled the network to first place in the key 18-49 demographic on Wednesday, a yawner of a night chock-full of reruns.
CBS topped total viewers, pairing a new “Briefcase” with repeat crime dramas.
Fox was first in ratings with a 1.3 rating/5 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic, but third in total viewers with an average of 3.9 million, according to preliminary numbers. “MasterChef” at 8 p.m. ET had a 1.5/6 — a high on the night — and 4.6 million viewers. At 9, “Bullseye” got a 1.0/4 and 3.2 million viewers.
ABC was second in ratings with a 1.1/4 and in viewers with 4 million. Following repeats, “Celebrity Wife Swap” at 10 p.m. received a 1.1/4 and 3.3 million viewers.
CBS and Univision tied for third in ratings, both with a 0.9/3. CBS was first in total viewers with 5.3 million; Univision was fifth with 2.4 million.
For CBS, “The Briefcase” at 8 p.m. posted a 0.9/4 and 4.7 million viewers. Reruns followed.
NBC was fifth in ratings with a 0.8/3 and fourth in viewers with 3.1 million, airing only repeats.
Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.6/2 and in viewers with 1.4 million.
The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.3/1 and in viewers with 874,000, airing just reruns.
