The team behind "The Master" has released another trailer, and this time the focus is on love, happiness, pain and growth.
Written and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, the film follows Lancaster "the Master" Dodd (Philip Seymour Hoffman), the head of a growing faith-based organization, and the development of his relationship with his new right-hand man, Freddie Sutton (Joaquin Phoneix), as the proto-religion's ideas begin to catch on in America.
The newest preview shows Lancaster discussing the nature of love, intercut with his wife Mary Sue Dodd (Amy Adams) explaining the "time wall" to Freddie, saying "It means going back to a place and realizing you're on the wrong track, and getting ready to start life over from the ground floor."
Will Freddie end up on the right track? Moviegoers can find out when the film hits theaters on Sept. 14. Meanwhile, check out the clip below:
