Hear Mark Hamill Voice Han Solo in ‘The Force Awakens’ Bad Lip Reading (Video)

“Star Wars” actor takes on his colleague’s role for spoof of epic space opera

For today’s performance of “The Force Awakens,” the role of Han Solo will be voiced by Mark Hamill.

Hamill, who typically portrays Luke Skywalker in the “Star Wars” saga, takes over for Harrison Ford in a new edition of Bad Lip Reading, giving voice to the famed Millennium Falcon pilot.

In the new video, published Thursday, Solo struggles to discover his source of happiness, with the not-so-helpful help of Leia (Carrie Fisher).

Elsewhere, he encounters a troubling language barrier — which really is not surprising, since many of the characters are aliens and pretty much everyone in the video is speaking gibberish.

Maybe Ford can return the favor sometime and do a bad lip reading of Hamill’s 1978 near-classic “Corvette Summer.”

In the meantime, hear Ford lose his voice to Hamill in the video above.
