Ratings: CBS’ ‘Magnum PI’ Season Finale Does Not Bring Out the Big Guns – or Audience

ABC’s “The Fix” keeps slipping

“The Voice” battles carried NBC to another win on another Monday, when CBS finished fourth in the key demo despite airing its “Magnum P.I.” season finale.

CBS was second among primetime’s total-viewer averages, however.

Thanks to “9-1-1,” Fox was second among adults 18-49. ABC came in third thanks to “American Idol,” but no thanks at all to “The Fix.”

NBC was first in ratings with a 1.3 rating/6 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 7.1 million, according to preliminary numbers. “The Voice” from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. averaged a 1.5/7 and 8.4 million viewers. “The Enemy Within” at 10 had a 0.8/4 and 4.5 million viewers.

Fox was second in ratings with a 1.1/5 and third in viewers with 5.6 million. “The Resident” at 8 got a 0.9/4 and 5.1 million viewers. At 9, “9-1-1” posted a 1.3/5 and 6.1 million viewers.

ABC was third in ratings with a 0.9/4 and fourth in viewers with 5.1 million. “American Idol” from 8-10 put up a 1.1/5 and 6.2 million viewers. “The Fix” at 10 settled for a 0.5/2 and 3 million viewers.

CBS was fourth in ratings with a 0.7/3 but second in viewers with 6 million. “The Neighborhood” at 8 got a 1.0/5 and 6.2 million viewers. “Man With a Plan” at 8:30 received a 0.8/4 and 5.3 million viewers. “Magnum P.I.” at 9 had a 0.7/3 and 5.4 million viewers. “Bull” at 10 finished primetime off with a 0.6/3 and 6.7 million viewers.

Univision was fifth in ratings with a 0.5/2 and in viewers with 1.5 million.

Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.4/2 and in viewers with 1.2 million.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.2/1 and in viewers with 851,000 viewers. “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” at 8 had a 0.3/1 and 957,000 viewers. At 9, “Penn & Teller: Fool Us” got a 0.2/1 and 745,000 viewers.
