"21 Jump Street" star Tatum reaches back to his former career as a male ecdysiast in his upcoming movie "Magic Mike," and a new clip from the film suggests that he could probably step back into the strip-club circuit if this whole movie-star thing doesn't pan out.
The Steven Soderbergh-directed film stars Channing as Mike Martingano, a veteran peeler who takes a novice stripper (portrayed by Alex Pettyfer) under his well-toned wing and shows him the ropes. Because strippers who need strippers are the luckiest strippers in the world.
The film, which also stars Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello and Matthew McConaughey, opens June 29.
