Things are heating up on the winter finale of “Madam Secretary.”
After they uncover a secret that could ruin Maria Ostrov’s (Angela Gots) reputation, Elizabeth (Tea Leoni) and President Dalton (Keith Carradine) head to Switzerland to meet with her and use the information as leverage in an attempt to find a peaceful solution to the escalated conflict with Russia. Also, Dmitri (Chris Petrovski) requests to be released from his duties as a spy.
In an exclusive clip of the episode obtained by TheWrap, Henry (Tim Daly) is furious that Dmitri is being left out in the cold by the US government after obtaining so much useful information. But Jane (Jill Hennessy) tells him that that is the nature of intelligence work.
“The Pentagon’s has pulled most of our assets in country,” Jane says. “Until the situation improves, I’m afraid Dmitri is caught behind enemy lines.”
The winter finale of “Madam Secretary airs on CBS Dec. 13 at 8 p.m./7c.
