The premiere date for the fouth season of "Mad Men" has been set, with AMC Tuesday announcing a July 25 return for its signature series.
"Men" will continue to air Sundays at 10. And starting August 1, the series will have a new lead-in: "Rubicon," a thriller starring James Badge Dale as a man on the trail of a conspiracy of sort (we think it’s the one about how AMC is able to get so much hype from reporters like MoJoe for "Mad Men," which garners such relatively small ratings. We kid, we kid!)
The Rainbow people said "Rubicon" will bow as a two-hour event that first Sunday in August, from 8-10 p.m., before settling into its normal 9 p.m. slot as warm-up hitter for "Mad Men."
