Ludacris and Chrissy Teigen will host the 2015 Billboard Music Awards, ABC and Dick Clark Productions announced Monday.
Billboard Music Awards finalists are chosen based on fan interactions with music, including album and digital songs sales, radio airplay, streaming, touring and social interactions on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Spotify and other popular online destinations for music.
This will mark Teigen’s first time hosting the awards show, while Ludacris hosted in 2014. She appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated’s 2014 swimsuit issue and next up will be seen as commentator on Spike TV’s “Lip Sync Battle.” Teigen will also co-host the new nationally syndicated talk show “The FAB Life.”
Ludacris has placed four No. 1 albums on the Billboard charts himself in addition to an acting career that includes a role in the “Fast and the Furious” franchise, the seventh installment of which opens on Friday.
The 2015 Billboard Music Awards finalists will be announced on April 7 on “Good Morning America.” The awards show will air on May 17 on ABC at 8 p.m. ET.
