Lorde, One Direction, Fergie to Perform at American Music Awards

Musicians will join 5 Seconds of Summer, Sam Smith and more at the Nov. 23 ceremony

Three more of the biggest names in music are coming to the American Music Awards’ stage. The show, put on again by Dick Clark Productions announced that Lorde, One Direction and Fergie will all be performing at this year’s ceremony.

Fergie is set to make her television debut performance of “L.A. LOVE (la la),” her first single since 2006. One Direction will perform a track off their upcoming album, “FOUR.” Lorde will be performing for the first time on the AMAs.

As TheWrap previously reported, musical acts 5 Seconds of Summer, Charli XCX, Mary J. Blige and Sam Smith are also scheduled to perform.

Lorde has also been nominated for four AMAs this year. The full list of 2014 nominations were announced earlier this month with Iggy Azalea leading the field with six.

The awards show will be hosted by Pitbull for the second year in a row at the Nokia Theater L.A. Live.

“The 2014 American Music Awards” will air live at 8 p.m. ET/delayed PT on ABC. The “Coca-Cola Red Carpet LIVE! @ The 2014 AMAs” pre-show begins streaming at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT on Yahoo Live, TheAMAs.com and ABC.com.
