‘Long Lost Family’: Mary Lives 2 Miles From Her Estranged Sister (Exclusive Video)

That’s not even a 5K

Mary has spent a lifetime searching for her sister. Turns out, they probably ran into each other at the grocery store every other week.

That’s because Sunday’s “Long Lost Family” subjects Mary and Monica have been living just two miles away from each other this whole time.

On the upcoming TLC episode, fans of the reality series will learn the backstory of Mary, who was 19 when her then six-year-old sister Monica was placed for adoption.

Here’s the quickie version: Mary and Monica’s mother was declared unfit due to a dysfunctional lifestyle and the two daughters were separated, despite big sis’s efforts to gain custody of the young girl.

Watch the video above, which is exclusive to TheWrap.

Produced by Shed Media, “Long Lost Family” airs Sundays at 10/9c on TLC.
