Loki Wields Thor’s Hammer in New Deleted Scene Released by Marvel (Video)

“I’m giving the people what they want,” Tom Hiddleston says in the clip

In a deleted scene from “Thor: The Dark World,” Loki (Tom Hiddleston) wields his brother’s hammer in his coronation ceremony.

“I’m giving the people what they want,” Loki says to his mother, Frigga (Rene Russo).

“Cast enough illusions and you risk forgetting what is real,” she says back with her mind, which brings Loki back to reality.

The scene was constructed to show Loki using his illusions to make himself King of Asgard while still locked up in prison.

“Thor: The Dark World” made $206 million since its debut in 2013. A third movie, titled “Thor: Ragnarok” is currently in pre-production, with a release date set for 2017.
