LL Cool J is hosting the Grammy Awards for the third time in a row on Sunday, but told Jimmy Kimmel on Monday that repetition doesn’t make the job any less difficult.
“It never gets easier,” Cool J told the late-night comedian in an interview (above). “Every year is different, every year the audience is different, the artists are always different. You can never take it for granted. You just gotta go out there and have fun.”

Much like the advice a mother would give her son before his first date, the “NCIS: Los Angeles” star said it’s important to just be yourself on music’s biggest stage.
“I don’t pretend I’m Billy Crystal,” the 46-year-old rapper said. “I’m just doing me, and having a good time.”
Cool J, who has won two Grammys in the past himself, takes the stage at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday when the 56th annual Grammy Awards kick off at 8 p.m. on CBS.
