Fox International Channels has named former OWN marketing executive Liz Dolan to the new post of chief marketing officer.
Dolan will oversee all brand development, consumer communications, corporate communications and trade marketing for the company's entertainment and factual channels outside the U.S.
Dolan served as chief marketing officer for Oprah Winfrey's OWN from December 2008 to June 2010. She worked at Nike as corporate vice president and director of global marketing from from 1988 to 1997, during which its revenues grew from $4.2 billion to $9.1 billion.
“Liz has a track record of innovation and results,” said FIC president Hernan Lopez, to whom she will report. “Having run global marketing at Nike, she understands what it means to bring together local passion and expertise with a broad global brand vision. We are fortunate to count on her to help us in the next stage of our growth plan.”
Dolan also created, executive produced and co-hosted the radio talk show "Satellite Sisters" with her four real-life sisters. The show was syndicated nationally by ABC Radio Networks and has won nine Gracie Allen Awards for Excellence from American Women in Radio and Television.
