Lisa Kudrow, whose post-"Friends" career has expanded to include the clever online improv comedy "Web Therapy," has been named host of the 15th Annual Webby Awards, to be held at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom on June 13.
She'll also be tasked with enforcing the Webbys' interesting rule requiring winners to keep their acceptance speeches to five words or fewer. For example, Zach Galifianakis violated the limit when he accepted his Best Actor award like this: "How am I on time? Sh*t." Not cool.
"Web Therapy," which Kudrow created in 2008 and stars in as impatient therapist Fiona Wallice, won two Webbys this year, making her a fitting choice to host.
The ceremony will be broadcast on the Webby Awards' official Facebook page. B.J. Novak hosted the event in 2010.
"Web Therapy" will also air on Showtime beginning in July.
