Lionsgate Sets Holiday Release Date for Charlize Theron’s Roger Ailes Scandal Film

Lionsgate picked up the film after Annapurna dropped it in October of last year

\Lionsgate has set a release date for the untitled Charles Randolph film, previously known as the untitled Roger Ailes Scandal film, for December 20, 2019.

Lionsgate picked up the film after Annapurna dropped it in October of last year over budget issues, just two weeks before the film was set to begin production. The film is expected to tell the story of the Fox News sexual harassment scandal from the point of view of the women who took on the toxic male culture of Fox News, ultimately leading to Ailes’ downfall.

Charlize Theron, Margot Robbie, Nicole Kidman, Kate McKinnon, Allison Janney and John Lithgow star.
