Lionsgate is partnering with Groupon to sell tickets for "The Lincoln Lawyer," the companies announced on Wednesday.
It marks the first partnership between a major studio and the online consumer site.
"The Lincoln Lawyer" stars Matthew McConaughey, Marisa Tomei and Ryan Phillippe, and opens on Friday, March 18.
Groupon will make tickets available for $6 apiece during its two-day online promotion on Wednesday, March 16, and Thursday, March 17 — substantially less than the usual rate at most theater chains.
