Lily Rabe Signs on for ‘American Horror Story’ Season 3

Third installment of Ryan Murphy's "American Horror Story" will be a romance set in contemporary times

Add another familiar face to the list when "American Horror Story" returns for its third season.

Lily Rabe, who played Sister Mary Eunice McKee in "American Horror Story: Asylum" and Nora Montgomery on the series' maiden season, will return for the next installment of the creepy FX hit.

"AHS" co-creator Ryan Murphy announced Rabe's return via his Twitter account Thursday night.

"So thrilled to announce Lily Rabe is onboard for American Horror Story Season Three!" Murphy wrote. "So talented, love her!"

Rabe will join Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters and Jessica Lange, who also starred in the series' first two seasons. (Lange also took home an Emmy for her portrayal of Constance Langdon.)

Though numerous cast members have appeared on multiple seasons of "American Horror Story," they have played different characters on the seasons, which are set in a different environment for each cycle. The next installment will be a romance set in contemporary times.
