In a new sneak peek of Lifetime’s “The Unauthorized Beverly Hills, 90210 Story,” the cast gets a lesson about what’s appropriate when filming sex scenes.
Gathered together by the show’s lawyers, the cast gets the gist of the FCC’s guidelines in terms of onscreen touching: “Above the waist, off the breasts.”
Of course, this prompts some discussion about what constitutes “off the breast,” leading Ian Ziering, played by David Lennon, to offer his own definition: “I bet the answer is, if you think, ‘Oops, I might’ve touched a breast,’ you’ve probably gone too far.”
Lifetime’s movie follows the behind-the-scenes drama at the ’90s series that starred Shannon Doherty, Luke Perry and Jason Priestley.
Max Lloyd Jones stars as Priestley/Brandon Walsh, Jesy McKinney plays Perry/Dylan McKay and “Degrassi” star Samantha Munro plays Doherty/Brenda Walsh.
Rounding out the cast: “Suburgatory’s” Abbie Cobb will play Jennie Garth/Kelly Taylor; “Once Upon a Time’s” Abby Ross is Tori Spelling/Donna Martin; David Lennon is Ian Ziering/Steve Sanders; Ross Linton is Brian Austin Green/David Silver; Michele Goyns is Gabrielle Carteris/Andrea Zuckerman; and Alyssa Lynch is playing Tiffani-Amber Thiessen/Valerie Malone.
“The Unauthorized Beverly Hills, 90210 Story,” premieres Oct. 3 at 8 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
