(Major spoilers ahead for the theatrical version of “Justice League,” even as we make some educated guesses about what the movie might have been.)
Well. It took a long time, but Warner Bros has given into fan demands and is going to turn the “Justice League” Snyder cut into an actually watchable film for HBO Max. We don’t know what the thing is going to look like, but we can make some guesses about what director Zack Snyder had intended for the film before Joss Whedon took the reigns in early 2017.
Watching the “Justice League” theatrical with the idea in mind that Whedon definitely rejiggered the plot significantly from what Snyder had intended is illuminating, if you know what to look for.
