Despite tabloid reports, Lindsay Lohan isn't under any risk of going to jail nor has she violated her DUI probation says the actress' lawyer.

"We contend," Shawn Chapman Holley told TheWrap, "that Ms. Lohan is in substantial compliance with the conditions of her probation."

Earlier Friday, TMZ reported that Lohan, who has had past "misunderstandings" around her case, hasn't met the requirements of her alcohol education classes as ordered by L.A. Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel and could finally face jail time.

The classes, which Lindsay is supposed to attend once every seven days unless she is in rehab, are part of the actress' three-year probation from a 2007 guilty plea for driving under the influence of alcohol and cocaine and reckless driving.

"Though there have been occasional weeks when Lindsay has missed her alcohol treatment class," said Holley, citing the actress' work schedule, "she has always managed to make up the class the following week by attending two classes."

While no stranger to sensational headlines, the last month has seen the 23-year old actress frequently train-wrecked in the news for both her professional and personal life.

As TheWrap reported earlier this week, Lohan's alleged firing from the indie comedy "The Other Side," might have derailed the comeback the actress looked

to have in 2010. Another flare -up in her own going family saga, with Lindsay's father Michael Lohan instigating the police to enter Lindsay's L.A. apartment on April 22. Five days later, the senior Lohan claimed on Twitter that his daughter was HIV positive — a claim he said was the result of his account on the microblogging site being hacked.

A probation progress hearing on Lindsay's treatment and participation in her treatment is scheduled for May 20 in L.A. Superior Court.
