‘Law & Order L.A.’ Locks Up a Leading Man– Skeet Ulrich

The actor will play one of two top cops on the upcoming West Coast spinoff of the crime drama franchise

Skeet Ulrich is the newest lead detective on NBC'S long-running "Law & Order" franchise, individuals close to the network confirm the actor will play one of two cops who are the focus of the upcoming "Law & Order: Los Angeles."

"L&O L.A." was announced in May on the same day that NBC announced the cancellation of the original "Law & Order" after a record-setting 20 seasons on air. Ulrich joins an illustrious list of "Law & Order" alums who have played detectives on the show including  Chris Noth, Benjamin Bratt, Jesse L. Martin, Vincent D'Onofrio and Jeremy Sisto.

Ulrich has several television and film credits to his name including recent roles in the shows "CSI: NY" and "Jericho."

"Law & Order: Los Angeles" will air on Wednesday nights at 10 p.m. as part of NBC's fall schedule.
