Former Warner Bros. legal heavyweight John Schulman has joined law firm Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp as a partner and chairman of its entertainment department.
Schulman spent 25 years as lead counsel for Warner, developing the top in-studio legal department in Hollywood.
He retired from the studio in 2008 as executive VP and general counsel.
“I’m enthused about joining a law firm with a thriving, multi-disciplinary entertainment practice,” Schulman said in a statement. “There is a great deal of legal talent in the firm and I hope I can help their practice prosper and grow.”
