Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine has received new investment from Laurene Powell Jobs’ Emerson Collective and Otter Media, which had previously invested in the company.

The total investment figure was not disclosed.

Hello Sunshine said it will use the investments to support the creation and discovery of premium IP that celebrates women, which it plans to distribute across multiple social platforms such as Facebook and YouTube.

“We are extremely proud to extend our relationship with Otter Media, who has been a devoted partner since the beginning,” Hello Sunshine CEO Sarah Harden said in a statement. “We are truly honored to begin working alongside the team at Emerson Collective given their commitment to supporting impactful storytelling.”

“We very intentionally chose strategic investors who passionately and unequivocally support our mission of changing the landscape for women by putting them at the center of every narrative we create, elevate and champion,” Harden added.

“Hello Sunshine has built a unique platform for female storytellers,” Otter Media CEO Tony Goncalves said. “Fans love Hello Sunshine for its commitment to making women’s stories come to life and we are proud to continue supporting them through the next chapter of their journey.”

Founded by Witherspoon and Seth Rodsky in 2016, Hello Sunshine has helped produce HBO’s Emmy-Award winning “Big Little Lies,” the limited series “Little Fires Everywhere” on Hulu, Amazon’s limited series “Daisy Jones and the Six,” and two of Apple’s upcoming series, “Are You Sleeping” and the “Untitled Morning Show Project.”

In addition to its video content, Hello Sunshine recently completed a 10 city live tour “Hello Sunshine x Together Live” and has entered into a partnership with philanthropist Eve Rodsky whose debut book “Fair Play: The 5 New Rules to Revolutionize Your Marriage, Home and Sense of Purpose” will be published in fall 2019.
