Say goodbye to “My Roanoke Nightmare” and hello to “Return to Roanoke: 3 Days In Hell.”

“American Horror Story” has changed its framing device, as we get to meet the actors involved in the re-enactment scenes in all their pretentious glory.

Angela Bassett now plays Monet, who has fallen into alcoholism since playing Lee on the show. Cuba Gooding, Jr. is a prima donna actor who slept with the real Shelby after she and Matt separated. Sarah Paulson plays Audrey, a British actress who won a Saturn Award for the award and was attacked by Agnes, the woman who played The Butcher and who has become so obsessed with the role that she got arrested for assaulting people while pretending to be her.

Audrey has married Evan Peters‘ character, Rory, who’s a loud, joking ginger far removed from Edward Mott’s craziness.

Now they’re all back in Roanoke and reunited with the people they played for a reality show sequel in which they all spend three days in the house. Sidney, the scumbag producer played by Cheyenne Jackson, is doing this to get Lee to confess to killing her husband. Instead, as we find out through placards, Sidney has condemned everyone in production to death at the hands of the real Butcher … except one. And the first person to get killed was Rory, who was stabbed to death by the spirits of the killer nurses looking for the final letter in their “MURDER” spray paint masterpiece.

That’s right. Evan Peters made his debut in Episode 5, was killed off, brought back in Episode 6, and then killed off again. For “AHS” fans who spent the first four episode of this season dying to know when Peters was going to show up, this was not taken well.
