“The Last Man on Earth” didn’t do particularly well last night, but “The Last 100 Days of Diana” did.
Fox finished fourth among the Big 4 broadcasters on Sunday, even with Will Forte’s latest season finale. ABC stepped up with its Princess Diana documentary, tying NBC for first in the key 18-49 demographic.
CBS finished third by that initial Nielsen measurement, but was No. 1 in total viewers.
NBC and ABC tied for first in ratings, both with a 0.9 rating/3 share in the advertiser-coveted demographic. NBC was second in total viewers with an average of 5.3 million, ABC was third with 5.2 million.
For NBC, following a rerun, “Little Big Shots” at 8 p.m. earned a 1.2/4 and 7.8 million viewers. “Chicago Justice” at 9 had a 1.0/3 and 5.3 million viewers. At 10, “Shades of Blue” got a 0.7/3 and 4.1 million viewers.
For ABC, “America’s Funniest Home Videos” at 7 received a 1.0/4 and 5 million viewers. At 8, “Once Upon a Time” had a 0.8/3 and 2.8 million viewers. “The Last 100 Days of Diana” at 9 averaged a 0.9/3 and 6.4 million viewers.
CBS was third in ratings with a 0.8/3, but first in viewers with 7.5 million. At 7, “60 Minutes” posted a 0.9/4 and 9.4 million viewers. “NCIS: Los Angeles” at 8 had a 1.0/4 and 9 million viewers. At 9, “Madam Secretary” got a 0.7/2 and 7.5 million viewers. “Elementary” at 10 received a 0.6/2 and 4.3 million viewers.
Fox was fourth in ratings with a 0.7/3 and in viewers with 1.8 million. After a repeat, “Bob’s Burgers” at 7:30 had a 0.9/4 and 2 million viewers. At 8, “The Simpsons” got a 1.0/4 and 2.3 million viewers. “Making History” at 8:30 managed a 0.6/2 and 1.5 million viewers.
At 9, the “Last Man” finale slipped from the prior week to a 0.7/2 and 1.8 million viewers. A second half-hour at 9:30 averaged the same.
Univision was fifth in ratings with a 0.5/2 and in viewers with 1.4 million.
Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.3/1 and in viewers with 828,000.
