Larry Hagman Cowboys Up on ‘Dallas’ Set (Video)

One of TV's most-loved villains arrives at Southfork to return to duty

Larry Hagman isn't letting a little health problem get in the way of his portraying one of TV's most cherished villains.

Production on TNT's reboot of nighttime soap "Dallas" began last week and Hagman, who announced last week that he's battling cancer, was on hand to reprise his role as morals-averse oil baron J.R. Ewing.

As footage from the first day on set reveals, the 80-year-old actor's return to Southfork was full of smiles and well-wishing. Enjoy it now, before the cameras start rolling and the skulduggery kick in.

Watch Hagman prepare to slip back into Ewing mode in the video.
