Lamar Odom has decided to seek help for his substance abuse, following a DUI arrest last week and reports of his drug addiction causing issues in his marriage to Khloé Kardashian.
People Magazine reports that the former Los Angeles Clippers forward checked himself into a drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility.

Odom has a history of drug abuse. The basketball player was suspended by the NBA twice in 2001 for violating its anti-drug policy.
Recent media reports claim Odom’s recent drug use has come between he and Kardashian. The two married in 2009 and starred together in the E! reality series “Khloé and Lamar” for two seasons. The second season concluded in May of 2012, and the series has been on hiatus since.
Odom was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence last Friday after being pulled over in his white Mercedes on the 101 freeway in Los Angeles. He failed a field sobriety test and refused to submit to blood tests, which means his license will be suspended for at least one year, according to California law.
Representatives for Odom have not yet responded to TheWrap‘s request for comment.
