Disney+ dropped a new trailer for its live-action version of “Lady and the Tramp” Tuesday morning — and this one features a bit of the famous meatball scene we all know and love from our childhoods.
In the video above, you’ll find your first glimpse of the moment where Tramp (voiced by Justin Theroux) noses over a the last meatball to Lady (voiced by Tessa Thompson) while the two canines share a plate of spaghetti on a lovely bella notte.
Here’s the official description for the movie, which will be available when Disney+ launches Nov. 12.
In Disney+’s “Lady and the Tramp,” a timeless re-telling of the 1955 animated classic, a pampered house dog and a tough but lovable stray embark on an unexpected adventure and, despite their differences, grow closer and come to understand the value of home.
Along with Theroux and Thompson, the film’s voice cast includes Janelle Monáe, Sam Elliott, Ashley Jensen and Benedict Wong as some of the other animal characters. The film’s human cast features Kiersey Clemons, Yvette Nicole Brown and Thomas Mann.
Charlie Bean directed the live-action remake from a script by Andrew Bujalski. Brigham Taylor, who co-produced the 2016 “Jungle Book” remake for Disney with director Jon Favreau, produced “Lady and the Tramp” too.
This will be the fourth live-action Disney film this year, following the success of “Dumbo,” “Aladdin” and “The Lion King,” the last two of which crossed $1 billion at the global box office. “Lady and the Tramp” however is an exclusive for Disney+, the Mouse House’s new streaming platform that’s launching on Nov. 12.
“Lady and the Tramp” will be available on Disney+ at launch on Nov. 12.
