Two entertainment and media PR firms, L.A.'s Maggie Begley Communications and New York and New Jersey's Sayles & Winnikoff, have formed a strategic alliance, the companies announced Monday.
The deal gives both companies a presence on the East and West coasts.
They already work together on behalf of Skechers Entertainment and Unicomm, which produces the 3D Entertainment Summit and Mobile Entertainment Summit.
Begley is a former executive at NBC, Warner Bros. and Rogers & Cowan. In addition to Skechers and Unicomm, her firm represents the Gotham Group and Cinedigm, among others. She formed MBC in 1992.
Alan Winnikoff and Carina Sayles formed their company in 2003. Winnikoff is a former executive at Sony Music, IDG Books and Worldvision Enterprises. Sayles previously worked at the Walt Disney Studios and CBS. Both worked at the Lippin Group.
