Kyle Rittenhouse has addressed the jury’s verdict declaring him not guilty in Kenosha, Wisconsin, on Friday, telling the crew from “Tucker Carlson Originals” the 12-member panel made the right decision.

“The jury reached the correct verdict,” Rittenhouse says while riding in a vehicle after an off-camera producer asks him how he felt in a clip shared by Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Twitter Friday night.

“Self-defense is not illegal,” Rittenhouse continues. “And I believe they came to the correct verdict, and I’m glad that everything went well. And, it’s been a rough journey, but we made it through it. We made it through the hard part.”

On Friday night, in addition to the Carlson’s tweet which featured the new Rittenhouse footage, Fox News announced that the “Tucker Carlson Tonight” host has nabbed an exclusive interview, with a portion of it airing on his show on Monday, Nov. 22.

More from Carlson’s interview with Rittenhouse will air as part of a “Tucker Carlson Originals” documentary on Fox Nation in December.

In the nearly two-minute long documentary-style video Carlson tweeted, Rittenhouse is seen lying on a couch at one point, in front of a computer at another, and in a suit in a car presumably headed to court later.

Rittenhouse is also filmed seemingly opening up about the incident in Kenosha, where he shot and killed two men — Anthony Huber and Joseph Rosenbaum — and injured a third during a police brutality protest.

“It’s the stuff that keeps you up at night,” Rittenhouse says in the clip. “Once you finally do get to sleep, your dreams are about what happened and you’re waking up in a dark, cold sweat.”

Asked by a producer in the clip if he “had dreams about what happened,” Rittenhouse responds, “every single night.”
