Kit Harington is hard at work preparing for his debut as “Saturday Night Live” host this weekend — or at least he’s hard at work making all of Leslie Jones’ “Game of Thrones” fantasies come to life.
In a new promo for this week’s “SNL,” first-time host Harington is forced to please the longtime cast member by acting out her favorite scenes from the HBO series. And it doesn’t seem to matter to Jones if the Jon Snow actor is playing Jon Snow in all of these bits.
“Leslie, uh, what are we actually, uh, doing here,” Harington says, cutting Jones off as she’s pretending to be Daenerys Targaryen and forcing him to bend the knee. “I mean, I’ve been here for four hours, but you just intercepted me at reception and gave me these — are these oven mitts?”
“Yes, they’re oven gloves!” she admits. “Is this even for the show?” he asks. “No, this is my fantasy, OK? I tricked you,” she responds.
And when he tries to ditch her, well, Jones makes him take a walk of shame through Studio 8H. But lucky for Kit, he’s at least pelted with donuts instead of the feces that was thrown at Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) when she was paraded naked through the streets of King’s Landing. Nice wig, by the way.
