AMC drama "The Killing" ended its season on a down note Sunday, drawing fewer viewers than its Season 1 counterpart last June.
Sunday night's season capper drew a total of 1.9 million total viewers between its initial airing at 9 p.m. and a 10 p.m. encore presentation — down from the Season 1 total of 2.3 million.
"The Killing"'s season finale also saw a decline in household rating, drawing a 1.5 household rating between its two airings, compared to the 1.8 that last season's finale drew.
In the 18-49 demographic, which carries the most weight with advertisers, "The Killing" season finale drew 717,000 viewers over the two airings of its finale.
