One of last year's most divisive cliffhangers is about to get a resolution — or at least offer you more to fume about: AMC's "The Killing" will return Sunday, April 1, with a two-hour season premiere.
The announcement was one of several from the network Saturday at the Television Critics Association winter press tour. AMC also said "Breaking Bad" will return for its fifth season in the third quarter of this year, and that the third season of "The Walking Dead" will be 16 episodes, rather than the 13 episodes for the current, second season.

"The Killing" return date will seem appropriate to viewers who felt fooled by the first season's finale. It seemed to solve the season-long mystery of who killed Rosie Larsen, then suddenly threw viewers a final twist that made us question everything we had seen before.
While the premiere will address some lingering questions, it won't answer the big one: AMC also said Saturday that Larsen's killer won't be revealed until the second season finale.
"The Killing" Season 2 premiere will air at 8 p.m., with future episodes airing at 9 p.m.

The network also confirmed that "Mad Men" will return Sunday, March 25, at 9 p.m. — with another two-hour premiere. It will be the first two-hour premiere for the show.
Star Jon Hamm previously announced the date during an interview with the "Doug Loves Movies" podcast. The show will return to its normal 10 p.m. timeslot after the season premiere.

The network also confirmed the Feb. 12 debut date for Kevin Smith's new unscripted series "Comic Book Men." It will premiere at 10 p.m., after "The Walking Dead" returns at 9 for the second half of its second season.
