Kermit the Frog appeared as a guest on Monday’s edition of “Tonight,” ostensibly to promote “Muppets Most Wanted,” his gang’s new big screen adventure. But given the lyrics of his most famous song — “It’s not easy being green” — and the fact that he was at 30 Rock on St. Patrick’s Day, well, there was no way that the Studio 6B crew was going to pass up a mint viral video opportunity.
Ricky Gervais, Tina Fey and Ty Burrell star in Friday’s Muppet film, but should the next sequel need a new human star, well, it’d be hard to argue with Fallon as the perfect fit (assuming, of course, he has time).
