For a five-time Emmy winner from fine scripted programming, Kelsey Grammer's sure doing a lot of talking about trashy reality TV these days.
During a sitdown on "Piers Morgan Tonight" Monday, Grammer told the host his ex-wife, "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Camille, didn't marry him for love. "No, I think she married me because I was Frasier," Grammer said.

The star of Starz' new political drama "Boss" also told Morgan that his decision to appear on the premiere season of "RHoBH" was his "parting gift" to his third wife.
"Whether or not it worked well for her doesn't matter," Grammer said. "It was my way of saying, 'Look, you always wanted to be famous. Here you go.'"
"You still get attention. You still get all those things that come along for the ride, which I think is what she was most interested in," Grammer continued after saying he didn't think reality TV shows are a great way to pursue fame.

"I knew that when it came up, we'd be saying goodbye. I remember having one conversation where I said, 'Well, don't worry about it. After the first season, you can do 'The Divorced Wives of Beverly Hills' next season.'"
The actor, currently married to fourth wife Kayte (pictured with him), also told Morgan he attributes his TV career longevity to "a kind of affability," which he might be chipping away at with his nasty comments about his ex.
