Kelly Ripa is on the hunt for a permanent “Live” co-host — and she’s already got plenty of options to choose from.
Ripa has tried out 20 different guest co-hosts across 29 original episodes since Michael Strahan bailed this spring for the apparently greener pastures of “Good Morning America.”
Perhaps surprisingly, Fred Savage has filled in the most on the now-named “Live With Kelly,” with his fifth appearance on set today. Interestingly enough, many speculated that Savage’s “Grinder” co-star Rob Lowe would be high on the leader board, but he hasn’t shown up once.
Behind Savage is Anderson Cooper, whom TheWrap previously reported was Ripa’s personal choice to share coffee with going forward. Nine others have stopped by the ABC production twice thus far.
