Comedian Katt Williams was arrested in Portland, Oregon, on Saturday on suspicion of fourth degree assault, according to police reports.
Williams is suspected of assaulting a hired driver during an argument over taking him and his dog from the airport to a performance in the city. According to police reports, the driver had swelling and cuts on his face.
Williams had been in Portland to perform as a regular cast member of Nick Cannon’s touring MTV improv show “Wild ‘n Out.” Arraignment for Williams is scheduled for Monday. He was also arrested on an out-of-state warrant signed in Georgia.
Representatives for Williams did not immediately respond to TheWrap’s requests for comment.
