Eminem fans are pretty stoked about Slim Shady’s surprise album “Kamikaze” — though perhaps no one is as excited as comedian Kathy Griffin.
18 years after appearing in Eminem’s video for the “The Real Slim Shady,” I just found out he gave me a shoutout in the title track of his new album #Kamikaze

Pretty cool for her. Griffin is wrong about which new song she’s mentioned on, however: Eminem’s shoutout is actually on “Fall,” which leads into the album’s title track.
Here is the portion of the second verse where Griffin is mentioned:
Lackin’ with it, “He ain’t spit like this in his last s–t”
Ho, you better go back and listen
You know me better, thinkin’ I’ll slow up, let up
Call it traps ’cause it’s a total setup
Hopin’ that you rappers fall in that; Dre said, “Hold your head up!”
Kathy Griffin, stackin’ ammunition
Slap the clip and cock it back on competition
This is how I shot a head (pew), Gabby Giffords
Eminem and Griffin have a common enemy in President Donald Trump. Griffin made headlines in 2017 for doing a photoshoot in which the comic held up the bloodied disembodied head of a Trump dummy. Though she initially apologized for the pictures, Griffin would later rescind that mea culpa.
