Kanye West-Produced Film ‘Honor Up’ Hinges on Harlem Street Code in First Trailer (Exclusive Video)

Written and directed by Damon Dash, the film stars Cam’ron, Murda Mook, Blackface, Smoke DZA and Stacey Dash

In the first trailer for the Kanye West-produced film “Honor Up,” the code of honor to protect a family in the streets of Harlem becomes increasingly harder to uphold for Damon Dash’s character OG.

“Growing up in the streets of Harlem, you have to be able to shoot hoops or sell drugs,’ a voiceover says in the trailer, premiering exclusively on TheWrap.

In this world, it’s more important to uphold the code of honor than to tell on someone to avoid going to jail. And that’s where OG finds himself after a shootout in the neighborhood.

“It’s a simple rule — you get knocked, you say nothing,” says a voice in the trailer. “Honor up!”

“Honor Up” also stars rapper Cam’Ron, Murda Mook, Blackface and Smoke DZA. It features appearances by Nicholas Turturro and Stacey Dash.

Written and directed by Damon Dash,”Honor Up” will have a select theatrical and on-demand release on Feb. 16.
